Lindsey
Lindsey is ten years old. She is currently in fourth grade. She is a very good student and very smart. She likes playing with friends, playing the card game "Uno" (beats her Dad frequently) and just about any kind of social interaction. She is taking piano lessons and shows a natural talent for it. She is also taking the Korean martial art, Taekwondo, and recently became a low blue belt.

Jaden
Jaden will be eight years old on February 8, 2008. He will begin 3rd Grade in August. Jaden loves to draw and shows quite a talent for it. He is taking art lessons from a local art teacher and is doing very well. He likes whales, dolphins, sharks, and just about anything else to do with things under the sea.

Jaden and Lindsey are best friends, though they don't really know it. In a crowd of other kids, they will look at each other and laugh about something that no one else understands. They get along very well, with the normal amount of sibling bickering.

Lenae
After much prayer and thought, we decided that Lenae should try to homeschool Jaden for 2nd Grade. It has been a very enlightening experience. She has enjoyed being at home and not having the pressures of a full-time teacher. She really enjoyed fostering the four month old we had for 7 weeks, but it was HARD work. : She still enjoys cooking, reading, and surfing the internet. She hopes to resume running/jogging on a regular basis in 2008 after being sidelined with a minor, nagging pain since last July.

Steve
I have been very busy for several years now, but it's all stuff I really enjoy doing. I am in the place where God called me, doing what he has called me to do, and using the gifts, talents, and personality he gave me to do it. It all adds up to a pretty good life. "Abundant," I would call it. I have started running again after a couple of months off and would like to continue this important activity - especially through the stressful months of our upcoming furlough.
