How You Can Help

People often ask us how they can help. Our first response is always, “Pray for us.” But people also often want to know how they can help in other ways. There are two main ways in which you can help us.

First, you can help us by recruiting (yourself or someone you know) teachers for Christian Academy of Baguio. The CAB school year begins at the beginning of August and ends at the end of May. We always need teachers. We prefer trained, licensed teachers, but often make use of untrained volunteers. For the 2002-2003 school year, we also need a Principal. If you or someone you know might be interested in making a ten-month (or longer) commitment to CAB, please contact us for more information.

Second, you can contribute financially to our work. Some people like to send money for specific projects, but others send money for “wherever it is needed most” or “for your family to use for something special.” If you prefer something specific, here is a list of some things you can send money to help us with:

$10	Pay for one PCM student’s dorm rent for one month.
$20	Pay for one PCM student’s tuition for one semester.
$50	Pay for one PCM student’s meals for one semester.
$100	Completely finance one church planting project in Abra for one month.
$100	Finance one PCM choir tour.
$200-$300	Purchase (or replace) one instrument (guitar with amplifier, drums, keyboard, etc.) for a church planting project.
$400	Pay the tuition for one of our children for school (when Lindsey starts at CAB in 2003, it will cost $1,000 per year).
$800	Pay the annual cost for renewing our government visa.
$1,000	Completely finance one urban church planting project for one month.
$1,000	Help Pastor Elmer Potectan (Km4 Church) complete his unfinished house (the parsonage, under the church building).
$5,000	Purchase a jeepney (or a used van) for the use of PCM.
$10,000	Purchase a new van for the use of PCM.
$10,000	Completely finance one urban church planting project for one year.
Above $10,000	Help us build a new college campus (construction should begin by the end of 2002).
$20,000 or more...	Build a Student Center for our new campus.

If you have a specific destination for your financial gift, please include a note indicating what the money is to be used for. You will receive a receipt in the mail.
